Do not miss our 3-in-1 tour of the regions of Demre, Myra, and Kekova for a day tour that includes history, culture, boat trips, and even the opportunity to bathe in our warm and friendly Mediterranean water. You will visit the Kekova sunken city, located just below the water's surface. After seeing the ancient city of Myra, where you can still see the remains of a former Roman amphitheater, we will go to Demre to discover where Father Christmas, also known as Saint Nicholas, is placed. Three unique activities and well-known tourist attractions in one trip.
Your driver will get you up from your hotel and bring you through the lovely, gorgeous countryside into Kekova harbor to start your day. On the way, we will stop at Sahin Tepesi, where we can get a great view of Kumlaca and the surrounding region. We will board a unique glass-bottomed boat to Kekova Harbour to explore the underwater city.
After an earthquake caused the ground to collapse into the ocean, the ancient Lycian city of Kekova was submerged under the water. Since then, the buildings have been maintained by the sea and are home to only fish. You seem soaring like a bird as our glass-bottom boat gently glides above the town. Your onboard interpreters will explain each ruin and its history as you pass by historical sites and structures, such as a Byzantine cathedral.
After our unique trip, we will get off the boat and go around Myra. Several graves are carved out of the rocks across this old Ltcian settlement. You will discover what daily life was like for the people who used to live here and get the opportunity to tour the amphitheater. On this journey, there are many picture possibilities at every turn.
Finally, we will go to Demre, where St. Nicholas's tomb is located. Every year, thousands of people gather here to pray, which has significant historical significance for this region. After being repaired, the church is now a very interesting museum. The inside has some stunning frescoes.
The full price of this tour includes lunch. Return transport and guide expenses are also included.

Your day will start when our driver picks you up from your hotel. We will start our journey to Kekova. We will stop at a beautiful area above Kumlaca along the route. This is a good location to snap our first of likely many pictures for the day while enjoying the surrounding landscape.
Visit Kekova Sunken City
After reaching Kekova, we will board our glass-bottomed boat. This unusual mode of transportation offers us an amazing view of what is happening under the water's surface. Fish and other aquatic life will be swimming by, but the Kekova sunken city is what we are come to see. This ancient Lycian city was submerged underwater after a significant earthquake in the region. Your tour guide will describe each of the structures and the intriguing historical narratives they hold as the boat gently cruises over the ancient ruins. Our younger visitors especially appreciate this opportunity to witness life under the sea without getting wet.
Myra Ancient City
Myra is the location of our second exploring stop for the day. We will explore the historic streets and marvel at the well-preserved remnants of the former Roman and Ottoman empires here. The city is full of tombs manually carved out of the rocks, and an amphitheater is nearby, which is really intriguing. This region has a rich history and is intriguing to explore. As you stand where the tales and legends took place, you will discover more about the history and culture of the region.
Demre St Nicholas Thumb
We will next go to Demre to view the genuine St. Nicholas tomb. Here, the story of Father Christmas becomes more popular. Every year, thousands of worshipers gather here to pray. The church is now a museum where you can see the beautifully preserved paintings on the walls and ceilings.
A great village restaurant close to the St. Nicholas church will host an open buffet as part of the tour's included lunch.
Your driver will be ready to return you to your Kemer hotel after lunch. There is magnificent scenery on both sides of the path as it travels through lovely rural roads.
