Full Description

Do not miss our 3-in-1 tour of the regions of Demre, Myra, and Kekova for a day tour that includes history, culture, boat trips, and even the opportunity to bathe in our warm and friendly Mediterranean water. You will visit the Kekova sunken city, located just below the water's surface. After seeing the ancient city of Myra, where you can still see the remains of a former Roman amphitheater, we will go to Demre to discover where Father Christmas, also known as Saint Nicholas, is placed. Three unique activities and well-known tourist attractions in one trip.

Your driver will get you up from your hotel and bring you through the lovely, gorgeous countryside into Kekova harbor to start your day. On the way, we will stop at Sahin Tepesi, where we can get a great view of Kumlaca and the surrounding region. We will board a unique glass-bottomed boat to Kekova Harbour to explore the underwater city.

After an earthquake caused the ground to collapse into the ocean, the ancient Lycian city of Kekova was submerged under the water. Since then, the buildings have been maintained by the sea and are home to only fish. You seem soaring like a bird as our glass-bottom boat gently glides above the town. Your onboard interpreters will explain each ruin and its history as you pass by historical sites and structures, such as a Byzantine cathedral.

After our unique trip, we will get off the boat and go around Myra. Several graves are carved out of the rocks across this old Ltcian settlement. You will discover what daily life was like for the people who used to live here and get the opportunity to tour the amphitheater. On this journey, there are many picture possibilities at every turn.

Finally, we will go to Demre, where St. Nicholas's tomb is located. Every year, thousands of people gather here to pray, which has significant historical significance for this region. After being repaired, the church is now a very interesting museum. The inside has some stunning frescoes.
