Full Description

The incredible natural and historical beauty of Cappadocia may be seen around 500 kilometers distant from Alanya in Turkey. Join us on this two-day excursion as we go into the heart of Turkey and view some incredible beauty that has been created over thousands of years as a result of volcano eruptions and weather erosion. The extraordinary geological formations of Cappadocia are also the setting for the subterranean hiding places that were used by Christians seeking refuge from Roman persecution. You will get the opportunity to explore this incredible subterranean world and learn how people constructed underground churches, meeting spaces, and even wine cellars. You will want to book this 2-day trip as soon as possible if you are interested in having an experience that is abundant in historical sites and full of breathtaking natural settings.

We will pick you up from your hotel so that we can get started on our adventure into the heart of Turkey, which will take us roughly 500 kilometers. Our final destination will be Cappadocia. As we make our way through the countryside in our luxurious coaches, which are equipped with air conditioning and provide panoramic views, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery. Leave the noise and bustle of tourists behind and you will feel as if you have traveled back in time thousands of years as the landscape, which has been unspoiled for millennia, takes over your senses. During the journey, we are going to make a detour to the quaint village of Akseki so that we may have a leisurely breakfast there. (this is not accounted for in the pricing)

The region known as Cappadocia may be found in Eastern Anatolia, which is located in what is now the middle of Turkey. It is an area that is so rich in natural beauty and historical significance that one has to see it for themselves to believe it. It is especially well-known for its fairy chimneys, which are distinctive rock formations that have been formed with time as a result of volcanic activity as well as wind and rain. About sixty million years ago, the volcanic mountains of Erciyes, Hasandagi, and Gulludag erupted and started to build the distinctive features that have made this region renowned. These mountains are now known as the Erciyes Mountains. Wind, rain, and other natural occurrences have worked together throughout millions of years to create fairy chimneys. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get a glimpse of just how strong and inventive nature's powers can be, as well as a scenery that is unlike any other.

Cappadocia Tour from Alanya

The first place that you will visit on your incredible journey is the Goreme Open Air Museum. Since 1985, UNESCO has recognized this location as a world-historic site. In this area, some churches have been hewn out of the surrounding rocks. You will hear tales of how the first Christians fled to this region to get away from the persecution carried out by the Romans and how the topography of the area assisted them in remaining hidden from the Roman troops for a considerable amount of time. In addition, we will have the opportunity to go to Cavusin, a region in which Greeks and Turks coexisted peacefully right up until 1924. Along the way, we will pass by an ancient settlement that had to be relocated in the 1950s owing to an increase in the number of falling boulders; this is another indication of the powerful forces that nature has. We will go to Pasabag, also known as Monk's valley, which is well-known for the mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys that can be seen there. Right in front of us is where we will find some of the region's most well-preserved fairy chimneys. Your tour guide will be able to point out the fascinating buildings and describe the process that led to their development for thousands of years.

Once we have arrived in Avanos, we will make a brief stop and take advantage of the lunch that is included in the cost of the excursion. Following lunch, we will get the chance to speak with some of the locals as they demonstrate some of the fascinating kick-wheel pottery methods they use. The production of this kind of pottery in this region dates back more than 4000 years and is a wonderful example of local expertise and workmanship. The first day of our trip comes to a close at around six clocks in the evening, at which time we will check into a pleasant three-star hotel for a night of relaxation before continuing our journey the following day.

Tour of Cappadocia for Two Days Departing from Alanya

The second day of the trip starts with an early breakfast served at the hotel. The journey to the Soganli valley will begin at 8:00 in the morning. This is one of the most remote and peaceful valleys in the region, making it an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. You are going to want to bring your camera to take pictures of the spectacular surroundings and the enchanting atmosphere.

When we get to the valley, we will start our ascent to the top of the mountains with a rather simple climb. During this portion of our hike, we will make our way through several underground caverns that have rock-cut churches carved into them. Your guide will walk you through the process of how this was accomplished as well as describe what life was like for folks who lived in this area at that period. Our adventure will continue until we reach a nearby hamlet, at which point we will stop for a rest and have some lunch as well as some other beverages.

This incredible subterranean city, Saratli Kirkgoz, is where we will spend the day exploring. In all of Cappadocia, this is the location of the subterranean city that is the deepest, and it is also a UNESCO world heritage site. You will have the opportunity to completely investigate the secluded caverns and passageways that link the various rooms and chambers. You will have the opportunity to visualize for yourself what life was like for folks who used to call this place home, and you will be surprised by the power that both nature and the human spirit possess.

Our trip back to the hotel will be a relaxing one thanks to the completely air-conditioned bus we have reserved. We will make every effort to get you back to your accommodation in Alanya by around 6'o clock in the evening.

If you are interested in history and the natural world, you will not want to pass up this amazing chance to go to Cappadocia, which is considered by many to be one of the natural wonders of the world. This unspoiled slice of heaven, which can be found tucked away on a mountainside in the middle of Turkey, stands as a testament to the raw force and resilience of mother nature. There is no other place on earth where you can see the world-famous fairy chimneys that were created more than 60 million years ago by volcanic activity and the forces of nature. The caverns in the region were occupied by Christians who were escaping persecution, and it is here that you can see how the Christians hollowed out little subterranean towns into the rocks to protect themselves from being discovered. Our two-day, all-inclusive trip includes an overnight stay at a local hotel that has received three stars or higher.

Our driver will come to pick you up from your accommodation in Alanya early in the morning of Day 1. You will travel approximately 500 kilometers up into the Taurus highlands in one of our luxurious buses that are completely air-conditioned. We are going to have a little stay at Akseki, which is a charming little town in the countryside. Here you may eat brunch at a local restaurant (price not included). You are also free to bring your breakfasts into the hotel if you would want to do so.

  2. Professional Guide

Each of our guides is well-trained, personable, and well-knowledgeable about Cappadocia, the surrounding region, and the surrounding area in general. During the duration of the two-day journey, they will be available to walk you through each step and provide entertaining tales and myths associated with the locations we visit. To ensure that this is a memorable and pleasurable experience for you, we encourage you to feel free to ask any questions that come to mind. For your utmost convenience and pleasure, each of our coaches is completely outfitted with air conditioning.

  3. Visit Saratli Underground City

This mysterious city is well-known for the natural architecture that it contains. In the time of the Roman and Byzantine empires, the indigenous people of the area and the Christians who were trying to escape the Romans constructed their homes in the mountains nearby. They were able to construct concealed cities underground, which served as a barrier between themselves and marauding armies. In the 1950s, the region had its first influx of visitors, many of whom are still here today.

  4. Popular Valleys in Cappadocia

During our tour, we will go to many different valleys, including the Monks, Devrent, Love, and Pigeon valleys. Each valley has a breathtaking landscape that should not be missed by anybody who has an interest in photography.

  5. Visit City of Avanos

The city of Avanos, which serves as the administrative center of the surrounding area, is well known for the quality of its pottery. When we get to this location, we will have the chance to witness local artisans demonstrate their one-of-a-kind kick-wheel skills. Do not be concerned; there is always enough time to purchase significant keepsakes to remind you of your trip.

  6. Cavusin Village and Church

Cavusin, which is located in Cappadocia, is one of the region's oldest communities. This little community perched on a hillside has plenty of interesting sights to see, including farm animals from the surrounding area. In the 1950s, a rock avalanche caused a significant portion of the inhabitants to be relocated to other areas. You may now stay in a one-of-a-kind hotel in the region that has been created inside a fairy chimney, and it is located in the same general vicinity. On the highest point of the hill is a church that was built in the 5th century and is dedicated to St. John the Baptist. Ancient frescoes depicting biblical events may be seen on the walls here, but they are quite faint. Exploring this eerie but serene location will give you a better understanding of how influential religion was in earlier times. It is an excellent illustration of how influential religion was back then.

  7. Visit Goreme Open-Air Museum

This open-air museum is comprised of a large maze of stone monasteries and churches, making it one of the most famous tourist destinations in the world. It is a part of the UNESCO world heritage list, and its significance to the history of Turkey is something that just cannot be minimized. The village center of Goreme can be reached on foot in less than half an hour, and those who take the excursion are well rewarded with stunning examples of architecture carved out of rock.

  8. 4 Star Hotel in Cappadocia

We have reserved a room at a luxurious five-star hotel for the evening so that we may relax there. Dinner is included in the cost of the complete trip and may be enjoyed at this location. Drinks are extra. Get some rest, for the next day will bring more of our adventures.

  9. Hot Air Balloon

On the second day of your adventure, you will get the chance to fly around this breathtaking landscape in a hot air balloon with a crew that is comprised entirely of trained professionals. There is no other form of transportation that compares to the tranquility of flying as a means to get a birds-eye perspective of the landscape. The hot air balloon trips take place as the sun is rising, providing the ideal opportunity for photographs as well as memories that will be with you for the rest of your life. Those who are interested in participating in the experience of flying in a hot air balloon must pay an extra cost.

  10. Breakfast and Checkout from Hotel

The package comes with a complimentary breakfast. Because we still have a lot of sightseeing to do, getting enough to eat is quite vital.

  11. Visit Chimneys

The legend that explains how the three fairy chimneys of Urgup came to be is one of the city's most popular tourist attractions. According to a popular urban legend, a princess once eloped with the man she loved, who worked as a shepherd. The princess was convinced that as soon as she and her husband had a kid, the monarch would forgive them although her father, the king, was not pleased with her decision to marry such a poor man. The princess, the shepherd, and the child were compelled to depart since this did not turn out to be the case. She pleaded with God to save her life and asked to be transformed into a bird or a stone so that she might get away from her father. Instead, God turned her into a stone. This is the reason why there are three beautiful fairy chimneys.

  12. Visit Caravansary

On the way that we travel to go back to Alanya, we are going to make a stop at either a small inn or a caravansary. This is one of the biggest examples of its sort in the region, and it provides us with a glimpse into the way of life that the ancient merchants who traveled the silk route experienced.

  13. Drop-back Service

You will be returned to your lodgings in Alanya on our luxurious vehicle that has air conditioning and comfy seating.
